I’m a Media Analyst with 2.5 years agency experience. I make $45k a year which is already a bump from my starting salary at this new agency. I had to take an entry level position given the the job situation a year ago with COVID. I’m coming up on a promotion and will be requesting a raise. I know the value of my work is worth being compensated at least low $60s. Is a jump that high unreasonable to ask for? Average salary of a Media Analyst in my city is 66k. With a promo I’ll have a Senior title
Any thoughts on a $45K offer for an AE role in Chicago without any health benefits? Offer is $10K below the lowest number I specified when asked for a salary range. Kind of bummed. Honest opinions plz
Hi Fishes, how does the performance bonus calculations work at ZS India for manager level? As in, if your CTC says its 20%, does one get full 20%(of course, depending on performance) or there are substantial cuts??
Recently relocated to a new city (MCOL) from HCOL, got a big salary bump, was thinking about saving money and got a really cheap studio. But I hate the place so far for 1) I can hear noise for everything 2) The place is too small 3) emotional depressed for living in such a small place. Should I pay 1.5X rent to get out here and get a nice place?
Anyone knows about darwinbox? Can someone help me with salary expectation for some roles? Please help
Lied about my salary so I could get more money from a company. Is there any way they could find out my current salary? 🧐

Looking for guidance regarding my situation. 20+ years in marketing/graphic design and 1+ years at current employer who recruited me. I was offered $70k (which was my salary at the time) and told that was their top end for my position. I was nervous to negotiate because I NEEDED out of my previous job (zero flexibility during covid) and I didn’t want to do anything to scare them off. I took the role of Marketing Multimedia Spec. (previous title was Sr. Marketing Spec.) and the $70k. Continued…
My last day with Deloitte was a week ago - I signed several authorization forms allowing them to withhold from my final paycheck the 1/2 of my sign-on bonus I owe back for leaving in 1.5 years, sans some FICA taxes. Today, I received a barely coherent email saying, “due to some glitch, the loan amount wasn’t adjusted from pay-stub”... and asking me to wire transfer the amount to them. It’s to the point that if it wasn’t on the same thread as the original email, I would assume it’s a scam. Wtf?
What is the salary range of sr. Hr bp at Amazon?
I’m working on a project to help consultants find exit opps. Having recently exited consulting, I know how hard it can be to find time to sift through job listings. How does it work? 1) Set your min. salary (+ other requirements) 2) We send you relevant offers above this salary 3) Stay anonymous until you interview Best of all, it’s 100% free :) Any feedback is welcome! (If you’re interested comment below too and I’ll reach out 🥳)

Hi Guys, need some suggestions. Azure Data enginner, 7.7 yoe. I got a offer from HCL for 22LPA. Initially they said I am eligible for E2 band Lead position but in offer they have given E3 band technical specialist. I felt for my experience E2 is perfect. So if I join in E3 will there be more responsibility and work compared to E2? And should I ask the HR to change it back to E2 ?

How often does everyone check in with their project leadership specifically about their performance on a project? I’m a recent new hire and when I first proposed scheduling recurring check-ins my senior manager seemed surprised so I was curious what the standard practice is. For context, I’m a Consultant in HC consulting.
Does anyone have a nanny who brings their own child along either daily or fairly regularly? Do you pay a reduced rate if they have their child along? I’m not referring to situations like nanny is in a pinch and brings their own child along a few days here and there. I’ve seen nanny postings where they have a different rate w/ versus w/o bringing their children along but it’s varied wildly and I’m not sure how to calculate. Also, what has /has not worked well?

Anyone insanely slammed with COVID briefs and disgusted by it? I’ve never hated working in advertising more then now. We should be ashamed. Stop doing it for an award asshole, but for good.
I’ve been miserable at my position for a while. I’ve thought about moving out of PA to either private or another industry but it seems it’s never the right time nor can I settle on what should be my next move. Currently 10 weeks pregnant with my second and at a loss at what to do. Have any moms been in a similar dilemma? Has anyone changed jobs or interviewed while pregnant?
