Is it good idea to list examples of clients I've audited that are similar to the company that I'm interviewing for in the "tell me about yourself question"?

Have you ever heard about “Green Line Offer” process which is supposed to be a quicker version of the standard Hiring Committee to reach the offer stage? My recruiter told me about this yesterday and said it will take 2-3 days as the review is done “offline” so no need to wait HC to meet. This was completely new to me. No background info asked so far so I’m wondering how they will do the background check.

I had an interview last week for a firm that I was really interested in. The interview was only scheduled for 30 minutes but went well. The next morning, I had an offer letter in my inbox. I’m now a little concerned that the interview was so short and they sent along the offer prior to getting any reference from me. They want me to send references now and will do a background check but does this seem odd to anyone else or am I looking in to this too much

For someone whose practice focuses almost exclusively on GDPR issues, how much prep is really needed for CIPP/E? I prepped extensively for CIPP/US (I felt over prepared) and want to add EU to my resume. I’m in house and farm a lot of work out to outside counsel, but am hoping to take on a bit more myself. I think the credential may help slightly. Does anyone know of the test has been updated post-Schrems and the recent new SCC and EDPB recommendations?

Hot take. Cut all welfare programs. Take the budget from the programs and give them as monthly cash transfers for All US citizens (with minor tweaks depending on number of dependents). Benefit paid out would be higher than the existing programs as we cut administrative costs and don't have to spend anything on figuring out who qualifies. If it bothers you that rich people would get this, then raise income tax on the highest bracket by 1%.
