Why would you even think twice? Just drop the paper and leave, you won't be getting that much hike in june

You asked why would OP even think twice, hence that answer. In more seriousness, if OP switches with 100% hike, he will most likely not be eligible for a hike in their new org for a year. Plus internal hikes in Genpact would be nowhere close to Deloitte. Ek saal ki chandni hai bas. At Deloitte, he will get 40+% hike plus promotion. Deloitte has also recently been market correcting salaries. Would suggest switching post that, if they need to switch at all. I was in the same situation i.e. got over 100% hike and even resigned. But ultimately stayed because I got a visa approval during my notice period. 1 year later, I have recieved 120% hike over 3 hikes and have onshore opportunities. For me, having patience paid off really well. Remember career is a marathon , not a sprint. Think long term.

Deloitte 2. This might have worked in your case but same thing might not happen with others. Right? He/she will also get exposure of other company and work culture along with immediate better salary. In my opinion 100% hike is really good and you should go for it. P.S. I am not from Deloitte or Genpact.

Definitely you should go for Genpact. No matter what Deloitte2 says.. I will reiterate "don't even think twice"

I am an FAE looking for advice on asking for a raise. I have been in my role for >1 year & provide engineering integration support virtually & on-site. I support key contracts totaling 6M+, have earned new customer contracts, replaced competitors, been personally requested by key customers & do on-site support trips solo since Sept. I enjoy my job & team but believe I may be underpaid. I currently make 70k + 5k DNE bonus, 5% 401k match & no commission. Industry avg @ 1yr exp ~90k base. Thanks!

Is there a way to bypass the promotion policy of not being able to apply for jobs in 2 or more levels above your current level? Especially, if one joined the company at lowest level with over 8 years experience? Reason was, I took a career break for 6 years and to maximise my chance of getting back into the industry, I applied for a role I was almost guaranteed to get. I had hoped it would be easy to rise in ACN but was met with "you can't be promoted 2 levels above", cont'd in comments

Joined EY TAS mid-Feb as staff 2 (had 1.5 yoe before in audit). With the October promotion now pushed earlier to August, am I still eligible to be considered for that promotion batch? I understand that I'll finish cycle 3 FY22 evaluation in May and maybe half of cycle 1 FY23 in July... Just not sure how the timing works. Also any advice on how to bring this up to the partners would be much appreciated! EY

After 1.5 years at the company I realised I am well underpaid. I am well aware that it would be a long shot to ask for a big raise (20k), but at the same time I don’t want to change company for that reason. A career coach told me that with my qualification I could easily earn 40k more per year than what I do. It’s really frustrating knowing that some colleagues without previous work experience would earn more on day 1 than what I earn now. I was a tech consultant for 1.5 years before this. Tips?

I have been offered a lateral move within my company to a role I (believe) I will be more interested in that will suit my skills more. However, I’ve now been offered a promotion in my existing Role, and have heard that this is a pretty big deal and almost fast track to Director. Am I mad to pass up a promotion for a lateral move that is unlikely to promote me for some time?? I’ve been in my existing role almost 2yr. Will it affect my future growth? I’m 30 so would love to be a director soon

Is is possible to ask for a raise just based on what I’ve seen on the market ? This past months many firms have contacted me and total comp is higher in general (for the same industry). Or do I need to have an offer letter in order to ask for the raise ?

Hi UK Fish, going into a promotion (from C to SC) and raise discussion tomorrow at a boutique consulting firm. Currently at 62.5k. Bonus was up to 10% but all I got was a measly 2%, slow pipeline maybe but I wasn't told why (will raise tomorrow). A recent acquisition has resulted in losing our annual xmas week off and a learning budget of 1k. I know for a fact that last year they were looking to hire SCs at 70k. Is a base raise to 75k a fair ask?

Been offered a role outside of audit. I am an AM and the role is a financial accountant role at a large corporate investment manager.
