is it good to work on standing desk or sitting desk?

Recently started freelancing and working from home and realized that I really need a quality office chair cause my current one is killing my back. Any suggestions below $500 if possible?

Finally getting a chance to put together a home office space. Looking for tips, photos, ideas. I have two monitors and a laptop so my do a three screen set-up. Debating about getting a standing desk or putting money in a super comfy leather chair. Open to hearing what you have done!

Where can you buy a good office chair and sit/stand desk near Toronto? Getting them shipped from the US is mad expensive.

Trying to avoid paying an accountant, can I actually write off home office space/mileage if I was just permalancing for 3 months last year? Shouldn’t the 7 months of W2 take care of this 1099 shit?

My home office is NY but I live in NJ and I’m filing taxes in multiple states that I worked in this year. On my W2 federal wages are the same as NY state wages, how do I track down my New York w2 wages without access to my detailed timesheets? Can I just subtract my total wages from the state wages from my W2 of the other states I’ve worked in?

HiAll, My lead resigned and my manager informed me just 2 weeks before her lwd on this and asked me to take up all their responsibilities. I don't think this is not a professional way to handle things and KTs are not properly given. I'm really worried if this will affect my career. I'm not really interested to work in this project. I have tried many ways to release me from this project . But manager is really amendment to release as there is no senior member in the team.

Again that manager is asking me to apply the Project code when I am on leave and he wants me to apply those 2 days leave when I was on bench in Myte. My leaves would be saved but when I said pls give a written note on mail so that I won't be in any trouble since I am applying Project code in myte when I am on leave..he refused for any email confirmation.He said let's not move forward.I will inform the Onshore project manager on this.I don't know what to do.
