Hi All,
What is the average salary scale for Associate consultants and consultants at Dalberg in India? Is it usually at par with the MBB? If not, how low exactly?
For reference, I have an MBA degree from a top B School, and an overall 3+ years of experience (not exactly consulting related though).

No
No. There have been past staff and interns who could not put a simple sum function together and had the certificate.
I’d recommend the LinkedIn Learning courses. The trick is to get someone else to pay for the subscription, like a library, your employer, or university.
Did you mean Alteryx?
Alteryx helped in my case. But you need to explain what kind of automation you have built. Just having knowledge won't help.
I would say no. It’s almost like the equivalent of having how many words you can type per minute on your resume. People assume you can do it.
Yes! You can probably negotiate higher comp based on that. Anything to give you a leg up.
Nah, but you should *definitely* know how to use Excel.
Yeah I have it right next to proficient in my ABCs
In general, no. Unless you’re applying for modeling/extremely excel heavy roles.
Maybe for executive assistants. But for an experienced accountant, it is assumed you know Excel.
Not too helpful, but it won’t hurt for a first year out of college, everyone at that point has it on their resume and no one cares either way.
However, I’ve seen resumes from more experienced people, and it never looks good. If I see a resume from someone with 5-8 years of experience and see “Excel and Word” listed, it leaves me with the impression that they have nothing better in their technical arsenal to offer.
I put it but but then quantified what formulas I use and know since there’s extra space before the line breaks
