What kinda happy hour? I mean I hang out with my coworkers on the weekend at the pool so I'm comfortable with that. If it's with more senior people use caution lol. Unless the partner is single then go for the gold 😋

As long as it’s a wife beater you should be good

I'd never do it.

Is it a sleeveless work blouse or a thin tank top you’d wear around the house? There’s a difference

Small group no more than 10 people I normally work with in engagements. Happy hour is to celebrate our promotion. Just gonna play it safe and wear a tshirt.

Depends on the happy hour, depends on the tank top

Depends on the guns (or lack thereof)

Go for it, I do it all the time and am still a staff 1 at ey after 20 years, career is going great

Def have work work out tanks to calls. No more tears 😂

I would err on the side of no, although personally I could care less how ppl dress. Unless it’s a client meeting, then I care lol.

If it’s something you could find at an Ann Taylor or Theory, then no.

I’ve seen a male sr associate present to an internal audience of 200 (via Webex) wearing a tank top undershirt. He got promoted to manager so it didn’t hurt his career.

In Texas, I would guess it’s fine. Pretty sure I wore shorts and a tank top to top golf along with a lot of others in my group.

I assume a bio woman posted

If I really wanted to wear one (and definitely been there before) I would just add a cute jacket or sweater on top that I wouldn't be mad if I had to wear the whole night, and feel it out once i'm there

The real question is how was the happy hour?

Can someone please share how easy or difficult it is to get a job with EAD on an H4 visa? Also how difficult is getting the EAD itself? Apologies if it's a naive question. I'm not too familiar with the US visa scene. Asking genuinely for a friend 😀

BIPOC who started working in healthcare advertising and eventually were able to leave, how’d you do it? My spec book gets me interviews for junior and mid copywriter positions, but when they ask me what kind of work I’m doing at my current agency, the whole conversation goes south. They either become immediately disinterested, or beam up and suddenly the interview is only about an open pharma role, which is more frustrating because if I want to stay in health I’d go for copy supervisor roles.
