Is it just me or are the people who come in everyday to buy lottery tickets just a different level of crazy? They should put a limit on how many tickets a person can buy

Yes. We have some regulars at the gas station that will buy tickets repeatedly for a good hour or two and then come back later and buy more. Yet, I know they are homeless because they are seen panhandling and sleeping on park benches. Think of all the money they could save to an apartment if they stop with the constant lottery tickets.

Some like to believe one day they’ll win - exactly why the game is rigged that way, sink hundred of thousands if not millions to have a lucky fuddamucka from California win your state’s gambling prize, like what happened here in Virginia. Lol

Gambling addictions are real. And at a time where so many people have no chance to get ahead, I can understand them wanting to feel that moment of hope they get from a ticket.

Moving on from Hotels (Hospitality)?

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

Should I move on and go to a different industry? Opinions are welcome! Thanks in advance.
