Hi, I have got offer from PWC India, Mumbai location. What are the chances that I will be deployed to a domestic client location project? And also if it's a critical data project like of banking what are the chances that they will ask for work from office at client location even if it's WFH these days? YOE: 5.5 years Technology: ETL development
Physical book recommendations? Looking for topics on Python, ML, DS, etc. Any interesting must reads in the field? Looking heavy to up-skill and get more technical! The journey begins now.
All I want to do is curl up in bed with hot tea and a good book. Recommendations for if I ever achieve said dream?
Got a verbal offer for a job that I want. The offer is pretty good too, more in line with the work I want to do, 40% raise in base salary, and other benefits are roughly the same. Waiting on the official offer, to come on Monday. The problem is, Stockholm syndrome is real, I keep feeling bad for leaving my team as busy season is kicking off. What are ways to deal with this “guilt”?

Anyone use an mba to pivot out of a rating agency? Or is there anyone who used to work at one and has transitioned out to a more interesting career, feel stuck rn, just looking to chat with someone who was in my spot
I need advice y’all 😖 I’ve been interviewing with 2 agencies. Agency A is my dream place but they’re taking a long time to extend an offer. Agency B is intense/demanding but great I got an offer from agency B on Tuesday On Wednesday, I went through the 6th round of interviews with the CEO of agency A. I sent a follow up email this morning asking about next steps, but no response/no concrete offer just yet. I’m planning on emailing again before EOD about my other offer..SOS (1/2)
Feel like there’s conflating between the optimism people feel about reopening and return to work. By going to restaurants and ballgames, I choose to accept the consequences for my own enjoyment. It’s not the same tradeoff asking me to collocate with team members or travel to the client site…
How hard is it really to break into the Canadian market with no Canadian Experience? Will be moving with a PR, 4 YOE in Big 4 ERP Implementation Consulting in South Asia, looking to recruit into consulting/tech preferably PS: Should I consider a Canadian MBA?
Question for parents (clueless non-parent here). I like to buy my nieces (ages 1 to 5) clothes for their birthday/xmas. What stores have clothes that your kids/you like?
At what point do you talk salary with a recruiter? Want to get it out of the way because if expectations aren’t in line no point in continuing discussions, but don’t want to bring it up too soon?
I have 2 YOE at a tier 2 consulting firm and just graduated top of class with an MS at a target school. How do I go about networking/getting a referral to transfer over to MBB?
Honest question- In this time where women are striving for equality and men need to play a key role in making this happen, why do we have women only conferences? How does alienating men help? #GHC19😑
Hello, I'm an MBA candidate at a non-target school with a good supply & value chain program. Would anyone be willing to review my resume and offer any mentor-ship so that I can best position myself for fall internship recruitment? I realize the cards are stacked against me coming from a non-target, but I will work just as hard regardless. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Have a verbal offer with a call on Monday to discuss details. I'm thinking about not giving any further information on Monday on my numbers (I already gave a minimum which I'd be OK with, which maybe was a mistake?) or my opinion and then doing negotiation over email. Do I have the right idea here? And if you don't have competing offers but are interviewing elsewhere, and they don't budge on timelines, any recommendations for what I should do to bump up the offer I currently have? ...
Hi D&A 🐟, I’ve been thinking of doing a career pivot from cyber security to data science. My current role is very technical and have experience with Python, PowerShell, AWS (SAA cert), Azure (Security Engineer cert in progress), and a bunch of other cyber security related technical skills. I have experience doing basic data analysis but not at the level of a data scientist. What would you recommend I do to gain these data scientist skills? I think the end goal would be to transition from cybe
