Best internal jobs at Big 4?
Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services

Anyone in eyp restructuring willing to refer?
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

There’s a lot more competition for talent where the Big 4 has historically had a stronghold. I wouldn’t say it’s losing prestige though. Frankly, they offer so many services there gonna be tops in some and bottom in others and everywhere in between. Being an auditor is different than supply chain consultant in Big 4

Great resignation is more about minimum wage employees, not Big 4.

Right, Deloitte I believe is the only B4 where consulting is and has now long been the larger business unit

Prestige unless it translates into some kind of exit is meaningless. Name recognition and prestige are different things.
Only consultants care about “prestige”
Prestige affects exit opportunity. It's not all about ego....
Ok it's mostly about ego

Big 4 are audit firms that provide tax advisory services, when did it ever have prestige? These companies employ 100,000+ people — can’t be that exclusive or prestigious 🤦♂️
B4 is prestigious to those who are at less prestigious firms
As long as firms that take folks from better backgrounds, top places won’t recruit from Big 4. A lot of it is intangible signaling value, which is kind of crappy, but there’s always been more talented people than positions for talented people.
