I think that you generally get elevated exposure and customer service when you pay for the accounts. We have paid accounts with Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor. I think it is worth the investment. Hope this helps!

I’ve been using it for years. I think it really depends on the position you’re hiring for. I’m an in-house recruiter hiring for a single position with a production demand of between 10-15 hires per month. It’s a sales job, which of course has a slightly higher turnover. We are also a growing market. So, I need to be talking to a lot of people. Indeed is great for that. In conclusion, for our needs it works.

Do you still need to do case interviews if interviewing for a manager level role at Big 4/Boutique/MBB? Or is it more behavioral/background at that point? Don't feel like practicing for cases 😐

Any of you out there meet your SO at work or at a client engagement? How did it start? Have a huge crush on someone, and I think feelings are mutual, but so scared to initiate anything.

1st year associate in public accounting: I know I’m not doing well. I can’t keep up with the work (with review points and extensions). I blow budgets, I even had one Sr manager confront me about not getting to the review points quickly enough and for going way over budget. Another manager had to finish up review points for me (I attempted to get this done but he had another return for me to prepare —that needed to get done ASAP— and then I had a director need me to get extensions out ASAP so I h

How does one get into strategy / mgmt consulting without having an MBA? Are mgmt consulting jobs only reserved for MBA grads? I feel like I have great ideas that I could put forth and potentially do a good job as a mgmt consultant but I come from an accounting/tax technology background (CPA).. would I just never be relevant for a consulting role unless I got an MBA?
