I think that you generally get elevated exposure and customer service when you pay for the accounts. We have paid accounts with Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor. I think it is worth the investment. Hope this helps!

I’ve been using it for years. I think it really depends on the position you’re hiring for.

I’m an in-house recruiter hiring for a single position with a production demand of between 10-15 hires per month. It’s a sales job, which of course has a slightly higher turnover. We are also a growing market. So, I need to be talking to a lot of people. Indeed is great for that.

In conclusion, for our needs it works.

Finally got a job offer to be an HR manager (I’d be a department of one) after 5 weeks unemployed of hard searching and connecting with recruiters. However, when I told them my salary range of $75-95k (my last job was 95k) they told me the budget was 65-80 which was fine. Verbal offer was $70k. I feel a little disrespected by this offer and want to counter with $80k. There’s many red flags already but UI may require I accept in which case I’m gonna keep job searching despite the salary. Advice?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Hey all, I’m evaluating our HCM Tech Stack. We don't currently have an HRIS or HCM but we do have an ATS. We are a $500M a year company with the intention to grow significantly over the next 10 years. I'm curious what Technology others are using for ATS, Onboarding, and Talent Management? Is there an all-in-one that is great at everything or piece and part together?

We hired a new director for our MKT dept, the interim director has set this person up for failure.
Two employees in the dept have come to HR to complain on how poorly the transition is being managed, the interim director failing to provide the right tools or allowing a space for the new director to own her space. My question is, aside from just watching how this unfold and pressuring the interim to transition as effective as possible what else can we request from an HR standpoint
