Hi fishes, I joined early of June in NTT DATA as a senior software developer. After few internal project interviews I been selected very soon into one project. Laptop was delivered to my home address but no work assigned. I asked multiple times my manager to raise a ticket to install required software like visual studio. Manager said I'll raise ticket but I think she didn't raised. It's been 1 Month no one is assigning work. How should I do. Should I enjoy my free time or should I ask my mana ½

Yeah, probably good. Usually lawyers are not shy about letting you know when something isn’t right. Keep up the good work.
It is a good sign! usually If you hear nothing, it means you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing. If feedback is very important to you, just make sure you were making that clear to your managing partner. Nothing pushy, just something like, if there’s anything I could be doing better, please let me know, that kind of thing. Good luck!
It is a good thing. Understand your role there. Everyone is busy. Do your job. You’re not there for your own personal development insofar as everyone else is concerned. For you, obviously you’re there for yourself. Nothing wrong with that. It’s what you add to the firm. It sounds as if you’re doing pretty well. Don’t worry so much.
Do you keep getting more work? If you are staying busy, that is your feedback.
As everyone said, it probably means you are doing a good job. But, if you are like me and like to overthink things or just want to be able tie a bowtie on everything you are involved in and know that it is finished, you can always follow up with the supervisor in a day or two just asking if they found what they sent useful and if there is anything else you can help with on that particular project.
I would agree with everyone else except my firm was PISSED when I experienced the same thing and didn’t realize I should be scheduling time on their calendars to go over feedback. Go figure 🤷♀️ morale of the story- if you want more feedback maybe give that a shot, either they’ll love it or hate it lol
Slow feedback may be common
I generally get an email biweekly on a matter letting me know that I’m doing great work. Unfortunately, if you make small errors, they’ll probably just fix it and move on to save time. Some folks are better at providing feedback than others. Feedback and learning moments seem to differ significantly from practice group to practice group at my firm, but I think your experience is quite common.
