Is there any client round after joining LTI ?
Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

Not common. Companies are so afraid of lawsuits they just send canned rejection emails vs anything personalized with specific feedback that could potentially backfire for them. Other companies just don’t value the interviewee’s time enough to send anything, even a canned email. It’s great that you got something as it could help you adjust for future interviews
Huh... I haven’t but I kind of wish that would happen? As someone that’s been striking out at interviews 😬
I just received one this week (constructive criticism included) and wondered if this is common. I’ve never experienced it before
During interviews I share the test that was given to get to a ‘panel review stage’, show the candidates version (so they remember what they submitted), and then show where we need the work to go if they are hired/if they say yes — to me it helps communicate internal standards for baseline projects. *this is not hard-core feedback and is purposely neutral; it’s a moment where they can self evaluate, gauge their own interest, ask spontaneous questions.
The test is a winner in two ways: 1) it is a sliver of a project that the candidate is asked to only spend an hour on meant to reveal their habits and instincts - not their mastery of design on a real project 2) the test is a tool I use to share a sample of what it might feel like working together - they get a taste of my vision, standards, and expectations for a very simple visual
Bonus: I can also see their excitement and/or lack of excitement when they see how much work would need to be done to the one piece.
