For me, those aren't intimate topics.

Getting into the nitty-gritty of my sex life if I'm in a relationship, that might be too much.

If you can't talk to them about those things, they're acquaintances, not friends.

Totally fine. Why wouldn’t it? I met a bunch of my friends’ parents. Even getting financial advice, recipes, fashion advice. Friends are family.
