Is it OK to leave the company right after receiving a GC? Anyone who did this? I’m tired of consulting

Honest thoughts on best qualifications to go after to break into PE from consulting - should I go after ACA/CFA/CAIA? I feel I’ve only got the patience to do one of these 😂

I have a BS in Kinesiology and an MBA in Healthcare Administration and have worked in neuro clinical testing for 17 years. I’m looking for a direction to be pointed in for a career change, ideally something that can be done remotely and doesn’t require a ton of other specialized training. Along with 6 yrs of strong power center exp. i want to learn data bricks but have no knowledge of python. Can i make use of sql and be a good data bricks resource or python ll be more helpful. Also please suggest me how can i learn adb and python.

So I just started at a new company about 5 months ago. I’m already looking to leave. My boss should not be in the director of HR role she in, she does not have the experience for it. She was put into that role because the prior director left and she was the senior most person on the team. I’m also not connecting with anyone on my team. I don’t feel fulfilled or happy here. Should I be leaving so soon? I assume if I do apply to other places, my short tenure here will be a red flag. Thoughts?

Did an exchange program gap year after college and landed in Deloitte GPS this fall, but thinking about trying to get into MBB because I don't want to do public sector long-term. Deloitte started my green card process in 2019. Went through prevailing wage last September, then they paused the process I guess due to covid and political reasons. I recently received an offer from a competitor with a promotion to my existing role and close to 50% hike. PwC is about to file my I140 in premium now and now I am caught up in 2 minds. Would I wait for another 180 days to make sure that my I140 technically cannot be revoked or do i risk joining the new firm ? The new firm would start my GC process after 6 months of joining and my H1 max out period is in July 2024.
