Is it okay to ask my assistant to scan the handwritten notes to PDF?
New to the work force. Been pulling 10-12 hour work days the last few months. I’ve been getting these really back neck pains so I bought some monitor stands to help, told my doc and I’ve been on muscle relaxers for a month / two. Thoughts on getting CBD for the pain instead?
Hi folks, just learned that I will be transitioned out. I am worried about the timing with the H1b transfer. Will my status be valid if get a H1b receipt or only after transfer approval?
My parents are visiting me and I have been trying to get them a booster dose scheduled in Pennsylvania. 1. They don’t have any medical insurance 2. They got covishield as their primary vaccines. Any word of advice on how do I schedule their booster dose? CVS/RiteAid just turn us away saying they don’t know what to do.
I love the engagement part of the job but hate the data. Do companies ever hire just community moderators?
Hi ,i am new in pune.any idea where I can get Friday(jumma) prayers at/near Tata Consultancy Hinjewadi phase3 & timing, so that i can adjust my 45min break accordingly.
If I have 21 RSUs vesting may 21 but another job offer (not from a FAANG but from a Series D SaaS), could I ask new company to “buy out” my RSUs? They want me to start May 1 so I can go on a company trip end of May. What are options people have tried? I don’t want to stay at Amazon until May 23 because will miss the trip with my new company and not have any time off in between jobs (I’m burnout).
Is it a good idea to start stranger things now?
How do you track sprint progress?
Do you record ETA per story/task and then update as required?
How do you feed data into your burn down?
May I ask what your knowledge of Citadel FIG in Chicago is in terms of career progression and culture? Thank you!
Good afternoon, does anyone work for Bank of America and is willing to give a referral for a change management role within the company ?
Have you ever broken down and cried because of your job? What was it that led up to those moments?
I’ve been laid off and, as I embark on my job search, I’d like to keep my marketing skills sharp. Any recommendations on must read books, or resources?
What is everyone's favorite whiskey, and why?
I work at a new, small firm. We get 10 days of PTO. For family/medical leave, we get 20 days paid and then 20 days unpaid. But policy says we have to take our PTO concurrently with paid family/medical leave. That’s weird, right? It’s like you end up losing paid leave days. It makes sense to do it concurrently with unpaid leave but not paid leave, right?
Does anyone here have experience building product analytics? I am the first product analyst in my team and I work with approximately 6 PMs. Any help is appreciated
Currently interviewing for a Core Solution Engineering role at Salesforce (level is still tbd). Anyone know the pay ranges between Sr., Lead, Master levels? I’d like to be prepared if/when I get an offer

Cap markets folks: On a scale from 1-10 (10 being super busy and billing at least 200h/month), how busy would you say your practice group currently is?
Could someone explain the difference between a firm policy that sets a specific amount of paid vacation time for associates versus a firm policy that has unlimited vacation time? Specifically with respect to how this impacts billable requirements. Thank you!
Signing bonuses still a thing? Recently talked to a recruiter who said firms have gone 180 on these recently…
Just moved from Big4 to law firm. When going over feedback on client work you did, that’s non-billable training time, correct? It seems obvious to me, but I don’t want to ask such an obvious question to people at my new job. I’d just like some confirmation that this is correct.
What AML 100 firms have laid people off, reduced salaries or cut summer programs? It seems there is a lot of this starting to happen stealthly.
Worst big law tales?
How much do exit opportunities actually correlate to the law firm you’re working at? I often hear people advising to shoot for the V10s for the best exits, but do those firms actually give better chances than a V30? Are V10 clients only hiring directly from V10s? Trying to figure out whether choosing a V30 that I really liked over a V10 (that will probably make me hate my life) would actually be detrimental to future opportunities.
Anyone heard anything about “Temporary Foreign Associate” programs? Just another way to get bodies through the door or treated equivalently to US associates?
First year associate here. Does anyone know of a handy tool/website/software that allows you to easily track people’s availability for scheduling calls? I currently do it manually and it’s quite inefficient and sloppy.
I did some OCIs in law school, just for fun even though I had no interest in big law.

Everyone gave me offers 🤣
I'm a first year lit associate and I think I've made a big mistake. I actually hate litigation and want to make the switch into transactional work, particularly capital markets. Is it too late to make the switch? I can't believe that I had to make such a big life decision after what was basically a remote summer last year.
I’ve increasingly been using retail therapy and have forayed into expensive luxury items such as designer sunglasses (LV) and coats (Burberry) — can anyone whose further down this road tell me what the natural progression of this is and whether I should stop now or carry on?
Why do you all stay in big law beyond midlevel years? How much of it is for the 400k+ income?
I’m a KJD junior in ECVC - I want to try to jump to an operations role at a tech company. Is this a total pipe dream? Is it worth going for an MBA to make this career switch?
What are the biggest changes you might experience from lateraling from midlaw to biglaw as a 3-5 year corporate/transactional associate?
