First time cooking steak. Yay or nay!
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. For KPMG people, I see that if we are considering taking a position with any restricted entity we have to let our BUPPP know. I'm considering applying to a job at a different audit client (not one of my own) and not sure to handle this. Has anyone ever had this experience before?
Nope. Independence is KPMGs issue not yours.
Only an issue I believe if they solicit you for a financial reporting role
^Would that apply also to EBP audit? I thought only financial statement audit. Usually EBP are administered through HR, not corporate accounting team.
Typically solicitation applies to any engagement (think it's in the EL) - also if the job is done then it's not really a concern. The issue is if you would be working on the client currently and so your independence could be impaired. You would have to excuse yourself from the engagement
I believe independence standards are the same for EBPs and a traditional FS audit.
