How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at Razorfish. A close friend currently works for a different Publicis org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.

I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

Take it. Not bad form at all. Accepting a gig, even a permalance one, isn’t a promise from either side for anything. They pay you, you work hard. That’s it. No one can fault you for leaving for a full time job
CD1 is right. I used to have those issues of morality too, but I’ve been through too many situations where 4 months of promised freelance work was cut to 2 and/or freelance-to-full-time became “our budget shrank and we’re not hiring at all”. Pay your bills and keep your options open - the agency can take care of themselves.
Trust me, they would end your gig early in a heartbeat if things slow down.
That’s why they call it “permalance.” If they want you longer, they should offer permanent full time.
Take it. No remorse.
Take it.
Go for it. There isn’t a lot of loyalty in this business. I found this out a few months ago.
There haven’t been many true freelance jobs and I’m afraid of cutting it too close and not making rent.
Get that fuckin dollar
Is it poor form to leave a permalance gig for a freelance gig at a dream agency?
