I really want to quit my toxic job where I'm underpaid because it's detrimental to my mental health, but I haven't been able to secure a new job in this market after 6+ months of searching
Just gonna rest my eyes
I am leaving JP because of toxic culture in my team. I have an interview. It's obvious interviewer will ask why are you leaving JP after 1 year of working. What should be my answer?
Have you ever had an experience where your female boss tone polices you in discussions about your performance? (Cont)
Recruiters in Singapore?
I like to move there
Why have unions become so powerless in recent years? A decade ago, the collective bargaining units would get wage increases that matched or exceeded inflationary growth. Now we are lucky to see any positive integer offered.
Realistically, if they are merely securing my job for $100/month they are not providing value! I can protect my own job, AND pay for a decent retirement with that money saved.
If I want to produce my own film, should I partner up with a production company? The CEO likes my project but wants to help produce it, meaning he wants his vision to become a part of it. We'll see how this turns out.

Anyone else feel like this?
Just graduated in December with finance degree but feeling lost. Not sure what to apply for or what I’ll really enjoy. My jobs while in school both dealt with manufacturing. Here are a couple of jobs that may interest me: project management, business analyst, financial analyst, bank stuff.
Anyone in those fields or others, pls tell me if u like your job and what you do

I think I want to be a data scientist / engineering manager in 3 yrs .
What’s the salary range?
What are the best soft and hard skills to have for this..
I already do lots of data science and engineering and I delegate and manage projects without the title so seems to be the best path path.
Hello Fishes , I got 25%hike in June payslip, promoted L9 with fixed 14.75. I have offer of 18.3 lpa from IBM and counter offer of 21 from LTI. My manager asked me to extend 15 days for travelling to Switzerland 15days since my work permit is processed already. Shall I stay back? Also how much hike i can expect in December?
I’m curious to hear how everyone handles their caseload and how that’s changed amid COVID. I’m feeling a little unorganized and need some insight on how others are doing things.

Has anyone transitioned from Tax to RM? Could you share your experience and pros/cons of the change? Really want to get out of client facing/billable work, but I like my firm. Thank you!
How is the volume at RSM compared to the Big 4?
Experienced hires can sometimes be like the salt water taffy of resources. They’re there, but no one wants them 🤦♀️
Do you feel like making a personal connection with your resources to learn about them, their interests etc can make a difference on whether or not someone quits?
Would you say that RM is a safe field during a recession? Just transferred to a team that’s mostly remote and so a little worried, but it’s the job I’ve been looking for! Hoping I’m not making the wrong decision.
Fridays are the worst because it sure feels like that’s when the resignations come in. It’s hard not to feel stressed about it. 🤦🏼♀️
In an environment where we’re barely surviving, fielding resignations left and right, I thought this might be a good place to vent, source ideas, discuss common trends etc. Our field is very unique and hard to find comps in terms of salary, daily duties, expectations so I’m hoping we can have an open dialogue on this!

I think you could definitely do a scheduler role (associate level) which could be more administrative at times. But when you learn quickly it would be easy for enough to pick up and eventually make resource manager!
The range is so big. Depends on your experience from what I understand. I have no idea. Maybe start a new post to get more eyes on it to see what the range is for a scheduler (the role below RM)? I know for an RM I’ve heard 80-140 as the range.
