Yes. On my last project, my SM was a horrible manager and despite trying my hardest, we were never going to work well together, and he tanked me in my snapshots. On my current project, my SM is an excellent manager and I am by far the most valuable team member. Not surprisingly, my year-end rating reflected the disconnect on my last project, but having just given my notice, it’s been so nice to hear all the high praise from my current SM, PPMD, and others that I have worked closely with that know that I’m a rockstar.
YES. This is usually a sign that they are not happy, they think they are being dealt with unfairly and they don't think the project is relevant to their future goals. I've half assed minor projects, usually development type stuff
