Most promotions to Senior Engineers in startups happen too soon... At least you are not a VP yet, in a bank you would be already.
I wouldn't think about it too much at a startup. It likely means you're performing better than everyone else on the team, that's it.
Agree. I got promoted three times in 18 months at my first job and then joined Accenture as an entry level engineer.
my start up went the opposite way and just gave raises without ever changing titles for several years... i think there is a general understanding in the industry that the smaller the company the less regulated the titles are. if you are contributing a lot to the team then i think it’s fine.

So long as there are actual seniors you can learn from, no problem. If there aren't, time to go.
Following (yes my observation too A1)
+1 to this. This is exactly how it was in the early days of Airbnb. As we grew, titles became more formal.
Yes. This happens a lot at startups. Even LinkedIn has tons of title inflation for 1-2 YOE. I remember interviewing people from LinkedIn who are Senior with 1 YOE that I would not consider them for L3 based on the interview performance. Inflationary titles have a way of resetting when you change jobs. People place you title based on your interview performance and relative experience. Don’t worry too much about it. Focus on learning and growing. At least you’re building skills. That’s the important part.
For a startup yes it can be too soon because they are trying to use the title in leu of compensation. Just realize that when you leave the startup your skills and experience might not be at a senior level so might need to target a mid level engineer position.
