How transferrable are design thinking / innovation / workshop facilitation / storytelling skills? Are there any related “hard skills” I should look into to broaden exit opps?

Interviewing at a Series B startup based in San Fran. BizOps role. 3 YOE. What should I expect from a salary and TC perspective?
I’m interviewing for a role that is open to both remote and in-office (when it’s safe) work. Should I give salary expectations based on cost of living in the city where the office is located or based on where I’d live working remotely? Cost of living in the office location is a lot higher than where I’d live but since they are also considering in-person candidates, I know the budget is there.
Anyone know of any openings for a SC in commercial SI PMFT? Trying to switch from federal and staffit is zero help (surprise).
Any MBB folks willing to do a referral?
Currently interviewing for a Manager role at Deloitte in their CBO/OT - Payments team. My next interview is with 3 practitioners (40min each) to discuss role and fitness. Has anyone gone through a similar interview process with D recently? Or if you’re an SM/Partner, mind sharing the interview process at this stage?
Thinking about quitting for an industry role. How much of a payrise should I ask for at the start of the negotiation with new employer? How large is negotiation figure vs. actual rise I am aiming for?
Currently interviewing for a designer role at Tesla - wanted some advice. The hiring manager has seemed uninterested and always dropped off interviews early and without answering any of my questions. He also mentioned that he's lost 4 designers from the team recently (red flag!). I think it'd be a cool role, but it sounds like I'd be the only designer and there's not a ton of support, BUT if I do well - lots of room for growth and promotion. Plus internal transfers after a year also an option?
Has anyone here used a service to help you find a new job? I’m looking at one where they source and apply for jobs for me. They’ll also help me rework my resume, LinkedIn, and other materials, as well as interview coaching. I’ve been looking for a new position on my own with no luck for the past 6 months. The downside of this service is they charge a commission based on the salary for the job they place you in. Thoughts or advice?
Applied to McKinsey via the referral portal. Been a week+ and haven’t heard back. Is it safe to realistically assume it will probably be a no?
What would be a good range for a CD role with a startup in Palo Alto? Series-B, approx. 50 people. What should I look for in a package?
SM’s - how easy or hard was it to exit into industry at Sr director or VP roles. Did you see a big jump in your Salary + Perks?
Received an offer to lateral to a Big Law firm in my current state. Kind of my dream job. Recently decided with my spouse that we’ve had more than enough of our current state and we want to move out of state next year. There’s no local office for this firm where we’re going, and no idea if remote would be an option. Conflicted on whether it’s fair to take the position, although I really want it. Thoughts?
Working as Consultant at Cognizant Business Consulting now, I am being offered a role of Senior Business Analyst as a contractor for 1yr, initially for 6 months in Deloitte IN. I am a bit skeptical with this Contractor thing. Can someone guide me please? They say I don't have prior Big 4 consulting experience and hence this role.
Just starting my job search after spending two years in consulting. I started updating my resume and following posts on this bowl. I feel very demotivated. I am an immigrant and would need visa sponsorship. I feel I have done mix of all projects and hence have no specialized skills to show. Want to exit to tech or strategy/business roles in hedge funds but feel my skills are very general. Pls HELP with for did you exit consulting!
Anyone with exit opportunity stories or experiences? How long did you stay in consulting, how much did you make, how much did you make with the new opportunity, what roles, etc
Converted my summer at a low/mid BB in the ECM team, however now been offered an analyst role at a MM PE firm (~$1bn AUM). Although my team at the BB is far from prestigious I’m just looking to hear some other opinions before I accept the PE offer, one thing catching me off guard is that most of the IP come from non-MBB consulting backgrounds so I’m wondering if this is really a good exit. I’d be taking about a 10% pay cut compared to IB but progression to roles with carry is open.
Applying for NYU One Year Tech MBA for May 2021 start. I’m currently making 120k. I can probably hit 200k in 5 years but I’m also 34. Is it worth it to get my MBA and pay 140k to work at MBB or FAANG?
I'm finishing my first year as an associate in Minneapolis and am considering a move to Boston (originally from the East Coast). Can anyone in the area give some insight into general billable requirements, salaries, and quality of life as a young associate? Or just your experiences as Boston/NE attorneys. Thanks!
I recently posted about moving to Antigua and Barbuda to live and work remotely on the digital nomad visa. Several people expressed interest in how I'm doing it, so I created an instagram. I'm documenting the steps of emigrating including pet import licenses, enrolling kids in an international school, cooking local food, and assimilating to life in the Caribbean. For those who are interested, check me out at: https://www.instagram.com/webelongbythesea/
EY- can vacation be taken in 4 hour increments? I want to take a half day one week because I need to leave out of town by 2p. Is that okay to charge 4 vaca and 4+ of other work?
Hi 🐠! My firm is willing to file an EB3 GC for me, however I’m from a highly backlogged country and was wondering what’s the realistic timeline for it from start to finish? The process seems to be stressful, to say the least. Alternatively, I have the ability to venture out into Canada (as I’m yet to pursue my MBA, after which I plan on pivoting into a diff. industry). What would you do?
I am looking to switch into an Associate (product development) role at McK from the current product engineering role at Square Inc. What is the interview process going to look like? Very different from generalist interviews? Does McK hire experienced folks throughout the year unlike generalist hiring?
Any tips to prep and pass PMP in one shot other than buying the book and reading every page of that?
Is KPMG more adversely affected by the downturn? Friends at other big four don’t seem to have as many benefits cut or raises and bonuses eliminated. Are we not as fiscally sound or relevant in the market?

How do you deal with a micromanaging CD? I feel completely stifled at work and he treats me (and anyone below him) like an intern. At this point I just want to quit. Any tips are appreciated.
Portfolio operations in LMM PE or $500AUM VC? Have offers to both and comp is similar enough. PE firm is established in its industry and VC is just growing.
Had a spontaneous spring clean tonight -- it felt great and makes me want to adopt a more minimalist lifestyle.
Exiting to Tech in a sales / consulting services role. Clearing $400K inclusive of RSUs. Really felt like I was not given the opportunities on high visibility accounts at my firm and somehow my client / sales / firm impacts were overlooked. Always felt like I was swimming upstream and my comp was basically flat over the last 3 years. So I bid adieu to consulting - for now.
