[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Can someone provide me some insights into the Senior Solutions Developers roles at Amazon AWS? What are expected TC range for remote positions with 10+ years of experience? What kind of questions should I expect during the first technical interview(90 minutes)? Specially for the coding part(20-30 mins) what level of LC questions do I need to prepare for? I already got some ideas about System Design and LP parts however there is not any info out there regarding the coding part for this position.

It's hard enough to get on a strategy role as a strategy analyst as it is
Don't move to strategy. You might be on the chopping block soon
Yes, it's possible. But there are also strategy analysts vying for those roles. If that's what you're interested in, make sure your CC knows and is helping you build the right skills so you can get staffed in strategy. Once you're on a project, if you do well, you should be able to get a sponsor to move over officially
As a strategy manager - told only to staff strategy resources - cross utilization is frowned upon especially with new projects
Be careful. Performance achievement tied to working in your practice.
I don't think that's entirely true here, ACN5. I have a friend in my market, who's only worked in another for 2 years and has consist let achieved high tiers. It depends if your Relationship Partner does his due diligence on your work, or not.
Yeah, they're making it trickier to get staffed across operating groups, but if you follow A1's advice you can pull it off
It is possible. I am MC but I've worked only Strategy projects the last 1.5 years. Find yourself on one, and then the rest will talk.
Not right now. Strat bench is deeeeep.
PWC1 how'd you manage that? I'm interested in doing the same
More unique to my group, than firmwide. Booz & Co did not have a strong presence in my market, so instead of legacy Booz Partners coming in and trying to build a strategy practice, they moved a bunch of MC Partners over as S& Partners, as well as some staff. Because of that, the Partners aren't following the standard stricter protocol of Strategy staff to Strategy projects, and instead staffing by skills and network. Our Demand Manager for MC and the new S& DM also work very closely to one another, so we get insights into all the work in the pipeline.
Ahh ok makes sense
It's a new Accenture performance system, pwc1. Just talking Accenture here. And just started this year.
