Anyone’s an “account director” and still opening job codes in Veeva, marking up annotations and submitting? I thought by this time I would have more oversight and have junior members do these. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to help but I feel like doing these take majority of the time and I’m not able to focus strategically or grow.
I have a 3rd round interview coming up that will feature a Python code read. It’s a client service engineer role at a fintech company. Anyone know how I can prepare for it?

Fishes, need help between exit opportunities, both have comparable pay in the next 2 years
- option A: much more cash up front due to big sign on, but less later unless promoted (more likely than the other option). Industry I had prior experience in but more niche. Hybrid work
- option B: similar comp overall with some rsu components but higher annually. Great chance to break into the industry I have been wanting to try. Fully remote
Both are reputable and I enjoy the team equally. TIA
Need some career advise for 25 y/o... Recently got an offer from a martech startup (~5 years). I really like what they do and would love working on their products. But I dont know if this is the right time to switch careers. My current position has great work/life balance and I enjoy the work but there is no long term growth for data science in agencies and we are on reduced salaries till 2021. The new position would pay better and be more rewarding but the financial security. Any thoughts????
Who should I go to about transferring to another account? I absolutely hate the account I was hired onto. My manager is not a good role model but she’s the SVP on the business and I’m not sure who to talk to without upsetting her.

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? I was not yet in the job market last recession but I watched my mom get laid off and struggle to find employment during that time for the next 1.5 years. I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. Is it better to stay put?
Looking for some insight / information on Senior Manager (Experienced Senior Manager) salary range, sign on bonus and API % in Deloitte's M&A/R practice... I have 15+ years of consulting experience in Big 4 .... i am based out of Atlanta GA... any inputs would be appreciated?
After 6 weeks off work, I went back, today, to a company I used to work with years ago, today. Good job with Work/life balance.Make a consistent 100k+. I took the job because the industry I was coming from is very seasonal and hiring won't be in demand until spring next year. Later this afternoon, one of the companies I interviewed with called me back for 3rd interview. This job is riskier but 150k plus, which what I was used too. I ll probably get the job. Should i take it?
Interviewing at Salesforce right now for a Solutions Engineer role. I have an interview with the VP tomorrow. Anyone have any advice? I keep getting the feedback that I am too “structured” and too much of a consultant. 🥸

I’ve been looking for a senior accountant (industry role) for a few months now, with not much luck. Most of the applications we receive are for candidates with much more experience than what is required. I was expecting to see a lot of Big4 or mid-tier seniors or associates that are looking to move to industry, especially since the news lately is that PA firms are experiencing attrition at those levels. We’re offering competitive pay and great benefits. What gives?
I don’t see a lot of senior roles on Linkedin or Indeed. Where else should I be looking? I’ve been looking since October and doesn’t seem like lots of new roles are added.
Got a job offer in another city at a mid tier, 20% pay bump. Currently an A2 in international tax at Big4 new position is in federal tax. Really torn about this move right now...I feel like there’s greater growth potential and the earnings in international tax appear to be higher.

I am looking at Senior roles because Manager roles are looking for people with more experience than I have. The Senior roles I am looking at have a base salary increase of only 15%.
Should I continue what I am doing or only try for manager positions?
