Tired of trying to score an interview at MBB :( they haven’t said no yet but haven’t said yes either. It’s taking FOREVER - I’m talking 7+ weeks and counting
Part of me wants to get at MBA, open a couple businesses, travel the world and put serious relationships off for at least another decade. The other part wants to marry within 2 years and have 5 kids
Recommendations on a company/job in consulting? Currently an investigator analyst with Guidehouse for a project that is expected to run through the end of the year. Bachelor’s in Business. Working on CFE and MBA. Prior jobs are in state auditing and criminal investigations. I’m new to consulting but I enjoy it so far and would like to remain remote.
Has anyone taken a certified scrum master course and certification through third party? Any recommendations? Is it worth it?
Anyone else having a hard time focusing on their CPA exam?? I feel like I'm having such a tough time getting my mind on it. Any advice?
Starting my MBA this fall. Currently working in consulting and honestly can’t cope with these working hours & permanent stress levels in the WFH setup anymore. Any thoughts on going on leave as early as April / May already? Taking off 3-4 months seems massive but I’ll also have to move to another continent. Despite the money I don’t see any benefit in working at the moment
Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market. Do we got some good offers or its another certificate just to add to CV after so much of investment & time I don't want to get this wasted !! Need suggestions ??
Questions for those of you who have your MBA: 1. Was it worth it? What benefit did you get out of it? 2. Full time/ part time/ online? And what school? 3. How long did it take? 4. What is your current job? 5. How many years works experience did you have prior?
MBB folks, how does sponsorship work if you get full scholarship? Do you still get money (say a percentage) from your employer?
Has anyone taken one of those online executive courses, like the Harvard Extension School offers? Looking to use my $5k of tuition reimbursement and already have an MBA. Worth it? Best programs?
Looking for advice: does part time MBA opens the same doors as full time? I work in DC area and on a visa. Don't think I can work full time and study full time as well. Thinking of applying next year, but let's see.
Going to business school in the fall and looking at non-consulting options to have more of my personal life back. Which 6 figure jobs post-MBA would consist of a stable 40ish hour work week?
Anyone switch to MBB from big 4?
Worthwhile getting the AWS cloud practitioner cert? (Will there be a return financially in ease of finding job or higher salary)?
Everyone talks about lack of WLB at MBB. For those 1st or 2nd year post MBA, how is your day specifically structured? At my current job I work 12 hour days but outside of core team meetings I have autonomy to decide when to get my work done- meaning I can go to dinner with friends or go to the gym in the evening fairly easily.
US based Applicant. Asian, female, 3.9 undergrad GPA, 3.8 GPA MS Accounting. 4 YOE at PwC and CPA licensure. With a gmat waiver, what are the chances of getting accepted to NYU Stern for spring 2021 part-time MBA?

If you want to be underpaid, stepped on by the firms obsession with their newest toy (strategy& wtf is that), laid off in humanely , "learn from crappy leadership" - then PwC is for you!
Transitioned into consulting post-MBA (1.5 years ago) and generally enjoyed the experience. Since I joined my comp has gone up ~13% and I’ve liked my project teams but in my most recent review talk my partner told me he thought I was ready to be promoted and had advocated for me but there was an HR rule against it and I was on-track to be promoted in 6 months. Since then I’ve learned that one of my classmates (started 2-3 months before me due to COVID) was promoted last cycle.
Met my team for the first time since Covid started Manager : “wow you’ve gained some weight since I last saw you” Me to me: “ I wonder if I should underperform and blow the budget on the next project i work with you on. “🤔
Been working on mostly (about 70%) public sector policy and strategy at Big 4 for most of my career. Often go up against MBB on RFPs and have a decent win rate. Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?
What exit opportunities does an assurance director with experience in financial services have coming from big 4? Considering leaving and was curious as what people have seen directors go into
PwC- let's talk Project Fit. When is happening?
Any insight on getting MBA from mendoza as far as prospects for transitioning into a post-mba strategy consulting role? It’s ranked outside the top 15 but from research seems like it still sends plenty of grads to top consulting firms (not MBB)
Got an offer from big 4 6 months ago with start date Winter 2020 still haven't gotten a concret start date, nor have I done a background check. Reached out to hiring HR in OCT they said to keep waitin

About to have my third interview for an ACD role. It's been a while. Should I still bring hard copy resumes? Should I bring my laptop to take them through my work that we already talked through?
What's good practice for negotiating salary of a second offer? Do you renegotiate again if its still below the range you indicated or do you either accept or walk away?
Thoughts on HOA fees? I’m contemplating purchasing a condo in Washington DC and have my Redfin filter set for condos that charge below $400 p/m, but the offerings are limited. There are a few that I love in the $550s but that feels financially unwise - it seems like a waste of money and a barrier to eventually selling and/or profiting off of rental income..? For context, I’m 29, make 220k (300 if I can get the bonus) and am budgeting up to ~450k for the purchase. Thank you!
Anyone looking for an HR Manager? Interested in remote work preferably in the a bay area. I have my SHRM-CP
