Is it possible to lateral into Strategy& from Core
I’m not trying to be mean, before you ask questions on here, just try and think about it. It’s like the 15 minute rule; if you still can’t figure it out after 15 minutes, then reach out, otherwise, you should’ve figured it out. Wildly pathetic you just asked this. Core is the peasants of the firm(myself included). Strategy& competes with BCG/Bain/McKinsey. Do your homework.
I believe strategy& is paid higher than MBB
I graduated from a top 10 undergrad we had people get picked up by s& all the time.. I wasn’t too sure on what i wanted to do so my career advisor recommended that I go into audit... which I hate I was just asking if anyone has lateraled before
@S1 I was never in the intention of looking for a high paying job. Did an internship in investment banking and I hated it. I wasn’t too familiar with strategy consulting as I never really pursued it in college
Think you need a stepping stone before landing in strategy&. MAYBE could make the leap from advisory, so try to get in there first. Agree with others about MBA, though. Once you have an audit background, kind of hard to get there.
If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
