Yes, very steep but the expectation is you will take time to get up to speed. Day one we don’t expect you to know what a manager with 5 years in CMAAS knows. End of the year, you should be performing in that capacity though.

I transferred from FSO audit to general FAAS as an M1. It was a learning curve given the industry shift but not insurmountable. Having supportive teams helped. Given how busy we are across all regions there is no risk of you sitting on the bench and you will get the experience you need. Although not require of course I would suggest staying with the same firm as you get to retain your network (we work with audit and advisory teams often) and it makes it easier knowing how to navigate internal literature, not to mention million random admin systems (does anyone really want to relearn Mercury BS).
