Is it reasonable to ask a clearance investigator to reschedule an interview if I am recovering from surgery? Would I need any supporting documentation from my doctor to reschedule?

I interviewed at a company. The recruiter asked my expectation before the interview & I quoted 3x of my present salary & they were fine with it.( I did not reveal my existing salary). I am expecting an offer but I have a feeling they will ask for my existing & then offer accordingly . I have 9.5 years of exp. but my existing is low as my existing comp. Is from a tier 2 city. Both have wfh. Any negotiation tips to deal with this scenario will be highly valuable.

(I’m a former employee from the consulting side) I had a first round interview, that from my perspective, I aced… I answered everything thoroughly, I was engaged with the interviewer…she stated my skills lined up perfectly with the role and that she wanted me to talk to her manager….15 min after the interview I get a no go email…ugh

Just left DoD civ life and started my new position this week. Let me tell you, breath of fresh air (figuratively and literally, spent 12 years working in a windowless vault).
