Absolutely. It's easier for both the candidates and employers to easily do the interview. Although the onboarding process couldn't be worse.

I'd say so, especially with the shift toward WFH.

I think it's gotten better and more opportunities have opened up for us overseas

There's been shifts in both directions I think

I've definitely seen a change. Some better, some worse.

I've seen a better change, and more flexibility + more competitiveness from the recruiter side than the candidate side. Nice to see the balance shift our way!

Met this guy 4 weeks ago. He lives 4 hours away and has already been down to see me twice and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights each time. Pays for every date even though I offer to pay. He is awesome and I really like him! However, he was traveling for work last week so our communication went from checking in everyday to one 15 min call middle of the week. He joined this job during COVID so first time meeting his team.. he said they were out past 1am every night. Ummm? (Contd)

How long did it take you in your career to get real bookworthy projects in your portfolio? I’m a Jr early in my career, fighting to get a good FT role, but have been running into places that’ve said the roles are heavy on website copy, emails and other stuff that I’d never put in there. I want to shoot big but want to be realistic. Been stuck freelancing (some good places) since Covid started and trying to break into full time, but am afraid of getting stuck.
