Is it still a good practice to write a thank you email and anyone has a good format?

Yes still a good practice. Don’t have a good format. I just wrote a couple of sentences

It's certainly not bad form. Don't see how it could hurt you. I also usually just send a few lines. Thank you for your time. It was great talking about the data integration challenges. Hope your son had a great soccer game! So basically I thank them for their time and incorporate details from the interview that highlight professional discussions and connect on a personal level if I can. To this point, I usually not down notes after each interview to remember key points.

Yeah you're right. It cuts after two lines instead of expanding.

How to deal with a team member (same level) who always tries to push their work/responsibilities on me? Our team is always really busy with quick turnarounds, and I try to help others when I can. However, she’s fond of placing responsibility for something that should’ve been hers on me in front of the team lead. She also doesn’t offer to help when others could use it. I feel like it’s too petty to elevate esp cos I don’t have hard evidence. Any suggestions on how to handle it?

Need to confess - I take a shot of whiskey every time I have a client meeting to loosen my nerves.

The worst part about being from LA and being on a travel project is that the weather sucks no matter where they fly me to. Like what is this water coming from the sky... 😓

I need to pick a project where I work remotely and by remotely I mean to say I’m really in the Caribbean

How many people can say that they have lost almost all motivation in their current role? interesting because you come in so ambitious and next thing you know you hate everything. How do you fix it.

6 segments needed in addition to travel I already have planned for the rest of the year to make it to Diamond on Delta... Is it worth it?

European consultants — in the US we have US Census / govt data that has data on the number of companies by industry by size (e.g., number of employees per firm). I am trying to get similar data for European countries. Any sources you recommend ?

Just moved to a new place, and my kind neighbour sent me this lovely email! EMAILS NOT CALLS!
