Is it super hard for a cpa from a small tax firm to get in audit or financial due diligence groups in big 4?

Hi. Recently have got an offer from CGI. I have heard a lot of good things about this organisation. I am dropping my joining to one of the Big 4 to join here. Is it worth it? Please comment folks.

Hi!I’m a FTM working at a big 4 firm(SM). I’ll be returning to work when my LO will be 6 months old. I have found a FT nanny but just can’t get my head around the fact that I’ll barely be able to see my kid ( Mon-Fri) due to the crazy hours my job requires me to work.I’m wondering if I should explore an internal opportunity or switch to a smaller boutique consulting for WLB? Suggestion from moms that have gone thru this? Anyone that has been able to stick to core consulting & manage motherhood?

I worked at big 4 tax for 3 years and then jumped to middle market because heard the grass was greener. Now I’m realizing tax may just not be what I want to do so I was hoping to get some advice on how to transition to a new field.
