I’m interviewing at Slack and the recruiter is fantastic. She told me to take some time to think about my comp ask but that I should use my current salary at Meta as a guide but to go higher as staying at the same rate won’t do anything for the gender pay gap. I’m thinking of saying that I would like 15% higher but would also love to get an idea of what the salary range for a L6 or L7 marketer at Slack would be just to see if my expectations are in line.

Unpleasant experience with CogniHRs
This HR shared the offer, but then there was no communication from his side. He neither replied to any of my emails or calls for 2 weeks (I stopped trying after that).
At most times his call was busy or switched off!
Although his offer was not apt for me to accept it. But atleast he could have come back for negotiation or further communication.
I emailed cognizant on their careers email, there too, no one cared to respond.
Pathetic experience with Cognizant.
