Is it too late to negotiate salary after you have accepted an offer?

Basically I did a small amount of negotiatkng off the initial offer I was given but I found out after a collegue from my same company was able to get a significant amount more.

We have simialr amounts and types of experience and went yo university together.

You can try, but typically, yes. Once the offer is negotiated its really hard to get them to reconsider. Always do research beforehand.

I mean, you can ask. But unless you have another offer to use as leverage, you're going to be pretty tied to that number you accepted.

Will there be any issues in future because of this negotiation!? 😅

Management offered me a new role and training for it too, but I’m moving countries very soon like in 4 months so I rejected it and offered to stay in my same role. Though even in my same role they’re giving me an increase in responsibility + pay.
Now 1 - I feel weird accepting this cause I know I’m leaving
2 - I feel bummed to have not accepted the other opportunity because I was excited for it, now I’m wondering if I made the right decision

Hey! I got an offer today from R@kuten for Sr Business Analyst of CAD $110K+15% annual bonus. Verbally in conversation with recruiter I had asked for CAD 115+10% annual bonus. I was initially offered $110k+10% annual bonus. I think I’ve already priced myself low which might be decent (not sure) for Toronto but way less in comparison with Bay Area where most of team will be based off. Any advice on how to ask for more base or joining bonus?

I am going to counter with 100k and 8k signing bonus and provide them with my reasoning. The salary range on the job posting is 84k - 99k - 109k. Is 8k more insulting? Should I ask for 102k? The recruiter told me they are targeting low 90s when we first started talking, fyi. I also heard this company doesn't do signing bonuses so we will see about that.

So if I negotiated one round and they upped to apparently what "the recruiter was approved to go up to" but it's not enough for me to take it even though I like the team, do I reject to the external recruiter I worked with first, the internal recruiter who provided the offer letter, or the HM who called to present the offer and who I last interviewed with? Want to maintain good relationships with all parties so want to be totally professional about it, but unsure what's best.
