Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

I don’t work in big law, but some of my classmates,who are going into big law, are bragging about the low number of billable hours they are required to hit. I’m hearing 1,600-1,800 billable hours. Is this actually true? Are some firms paying Cravath and only requiring 1,600 for the year? I know it depends on the firm, but can anyone actually confirm this is their experience? Currently in ECM at an RBC/UBS/WF and have an offer to join a T2 Consulting firm's strongest group as an Associate (think LEK/OW/ATK). Non-target undergrad and no MBA (although may ultimately want to get one), and this would be a ~20% base salary decrease.

Looking for more varied strategic/operational experience and to develop a broader skillset as ECM has gotten repetitive and the exit opportunities are limited. No wife/kids/mortgage etc. so don’t mind travel. Thoughts?

I have a TS with CI poly that has been active for about half a year. I have been applying to cleared roles but my clearance is not held/not showing up in JPAS and is preventing me from acquiring jobs. Please humor me. I’m an Intel analyst (12 years total IC and counter-Intel experience), masters degree in applied Intel, and 8.5 years of military Intel (enlisted Air Force). I’ve been a Gov contractor and gov civilian. Switched to FFRDC data analytics and finding it might not be for me. I’d rather not go back to being a traditional contractor as the uncertainty of employment was not ideal for me and my family. Anyone have any options/ideas for me?
