Yep. There is no escaping the hell of interviews. Although, the interview can be almost painless if they already know you.

like

Usually only true if in contractual form like bargaining units or hospital policy. I don’t think it’s understood as a given otherwise.

My company definitely does.

Yes. That make sense but what doesn't make sense if that the employer "have" to interview you because you're internal is what I meant unless I'm wrong and you could be a potential?

Yep, most places do require that. They need to make sure you're a good fit for the new team, even if you work well on another team

It may depend on the manager. When I transferred I didn't have to interview because I was in the same building and the new manager received nothing but accolades from my current managers. A few other coworkers didn't interview because they knew the manager. Those who were transferring to different locations did have to interview.

Yes

Thoughts? And Does anyone happen to know if 85k is on par for a Senior Analyst role at Home Depot? I was really shooting for around 90k. Thanks.

I had a great review and a 5.5% raise and a great bonus at my company. But I also got a new Director and a peer manager of mine left the company, so I will be absorbing her team. In addition, my director said I will be receiving 'deep delegation' from them. I don't mind more work, but deep delegation is a new term I've never heard. What does that mean lol?
