Is it true that managers at PwC get a free Amex gold card?

Well yes I meant free as in no annual fee for me to pay personally

Pwc5... Did you not just read what I posted? Meh. To each their own

I have to look and see if there are more. Those are the major ones. The 10 wifi passes is worth $100, and the lounge access, to me, is worth the remaining $95. (After the $100 to activate your points regardless)

If so how'd you get it

Define free. At Accenture, I applied for one through the company. There's no annual fee, but I'm obviously the one on the hook for all charges. I expect it's the same there - to be used for expenses, but so long as you pay it off monthly, feel free to use for personal items.

I'm a manager and I don't have one. I'd be interested to know if I could though. I have the platinum Amex but pay the annual fee

Thought gold was only for MD/Partners

@pwc2 is right

Anyone can get platinum. They pay half the annual fee.

Only MD and Partners get gold for free. Anyone can purchase the Platinum. You get $100 off, not half. But it's worth it.

Oh could've sworn it was half.

The perks make up for the cost of it, regardless. Activated your points ($100), delta club access, centurion lounge access, 10 wifi passes (the firm pays for wifi, so that's a $100 value for personal travel, although they do encourage you to use the passes first), and some thing sim forgetting right now

I mean what else is there? Beside the points I'm not too sold on it

Platinum is not free. PwC covers $100; you are responsible for the remaining $295 annual fee

After tax and 401k contributions, I bring in about 4.2k per month. After necessary bills (rent, utilities, groceries), I have about 1.5k leftover.
