Is it true that resumes be limited to one page? Or can they go over (1.5 - 2 phs total) as long as the information is pertinent to the job being applied to?

Big myth. 2 pages is absolutely fine as long as the content is not waffly and is relevant, you can also add your LinkedIn handle in there as that’s where you want the extensive details and that will help to keep your resume more concise.

I always tell people two pages is fine just put everything you want recruiters to see on page one

When we look at candidates we look at all work history usually. Some candidates have three pages. I would say as long as its relevant it shouldn’t be a issue.

I think my analyst is going to quit. I thought they were crushing the game: great work ethic and product, good attitude and sense of (slightly cynical) humor, one of our best analysts. Turns out all smiles and good attitude wasn’t working for them. Feel terrible about it. One for the analyst, two for our team, three that I had any part in it.
Part of me says suck it up. The other - prevailing - part is super concerned. So, check in on your juniors at a real level. The kids are not okay.

Does anyone know of any remote contract jobs in auditing? Specifically, risk management, compliance or internal auditing? I’m able to work 20+ hours a week. I’m a detailed-oriented person and and a great communicator. I also have a lot of experience in presentation design and enjoy doing those a lot. I would prefer a contract job receiving a 1099 and am not interested in being a w-2 employee. Please let me know if any of you have any referrals. Thank you and I appreciate any tips you can give.
