Hi,
I have two offers for Product Manager, one from SHL and other one from Pepperfry.
Pepperfry salary is 1.5 lacs less than SHL. However salary is secondary
With regards to the growth, future job switch option and work culture, which one would you suggest?
Would be great if individual parameters could be compared separately

I’ve never heard of this happening in big law. I know someone that got let go after their 2nd failure with a hefty severance and they were told they can come back when they pass
I’ve never heard of it happening but wouldn’t be too surprised if it does. Seems like the big firms give you a second shot.
The standard policy at big law firms is you get two attempts.

I mean, that would be unusual. You might get a severance package but would obviously need to start looking for other roles asap. However, if no one has said anything about getting separated after one fail, I wouldn’t worry about this. It’s a terrible look for firms to fire first years and junior talent, so they try not to do it.

I just failed and my firm (V20) was super cool about it and said not to worry, they’ll pay for my retake/bar course again along with a month+ off!

I've heard this about Fried Frank. Someone there can feel free to share if I'm wrong
They allow one retake

Never heard of this happening. When I asked my firm about their policy on potential failures before accepting the offer, the hiring partner just said "we're not assholes, shit happens and you fail. Just take it again"

There was someone in my group who failed the first time, and he coincidentally left the firm voluntarily for family reasons a couple of days before the public results came out…so who knows. Honestly, you’ve already taken the bar, you’ve tried your best to pass, if you fail you fail. No use stressing about it.
