Is it weird that CNN keeps referring Trumps children as offspring & spawns? I mean I’m all about it but it seems really....pointed?

It’s sick how biased they are. It’s not news anymore

Isn’t it weird that Donald claims victory before the election ends for “electoral purposes”

What until you hear what the current president said about literally anyone else.

Tbf, they are spawn. Look at what the fu** they are tweeting right now. Like seriously look at their twitter accounts. They need to be deported

These are the same children where on refers to starting total war over fake voter fraud allegations. Calling them offspring is ok to me

CNN is a network. Who on CNN is saying that? Let’s start reclaiming context and nuance.

That’s not how it works D2. Uncle D has 270k employees worldwide. You really think your logic holds water?

Lmao, because they are a horrible family?

To answer your question: no, it is not

Guys I am 100% on the Biden train. But they may as well start calling them POS, just confirming these aren’t normal ways to refer to people’s offspring lol

It sounds better if you add demon spawn to it. 🤔

Do I downgrade/cancel Reserve and go for the $695 Amex Platinum, or keep the Reserve and get the CapitalOne Venture? Looking for the best bonus on a new everyday card. Perks are great, but I travel ~quarterly rather than ~weekly nowadays

How do you keep from getting discouraged while job hunting? I’ve had 3 final round interviews in the past month and gotten passed over each time. Their reasoning is always “we went in a different direction”. Each of the interview processes was 4-5 interviews so it’s a big time commitment and really gotten my hopes up each time.

Interviewing with PWC digital risk solutions group - any pointers on what I can expect or any knowledge from people who are familiar with the DRS group. Input on company culture would also be great.

What are your thoughts on the value of a Harvard Extension School degree vs. a standard online MBA from a reputable public university? I feel like the Harvard name carries a lot of value....

Got offered a consulting job with CFGI for a manager position (12% raise). I don’t like Audit anymore and it just makes me unhappy. It impacts my health a lot. Had to work till 4-5 am during busy time and some very busy days during this summer. Partners tried to help me move to Deals since beginning of the year but it won’t happen right away. They will ask me to do the audit for another year. My guts told me to move to CFGI but I’m nervous. Should I move now in Sept or wait for PwC uncertainly?

PSA: Many a traveler to Mexico contract giardiasis, which is also known as Montezuma's Revenge. Signs and symptoms of giardia infection may last two to six weeks, but in some people they last longer or recur. WTF, first COVID now this 😩 who knew there was a long haul version of this 😭

I’m 33 years old. I have a decent amount of experience under my belt. Over the phone, recruiters and hiring managers say they love my book. But when I’m brought in for an in-person interview...

Survey: How much of a pay cut would you be willing to take to not travel at all, work 40-50 hr weeks M-F (no weekends). Post your current salary and what you would be willing to take. Be honest :)

EA Compensation Can we start a thread to evaluate what the market looks like for comparison? I’ll start: Company type: Big 10 Region: Midwest Support for: 3 partners, 1 MD and 2 National service line leaders Comp: $67K Curious if my salary is in line with industry.

If I wanted to begin the MBA prep/application process now, would I be looking at the fall 2022 admissions rounds? I assume I’ve missed the boat on the current year? Also has anyone done a gap year/volunteered after securing a slot in an MBA program? Thanks.

How about Lyft removing the $5 off after 5 business rides promotion? Back to Uber I go... ...whenever we get to traveling again 😬

After your first job, how relevant is GPA. For context, I went to a school that is very well known for grade deflation (Deloitte had a “suggested” minimum of 3.2 here) and I studied statistics, a particularly rough major at the school. Long story short, GPA was between a 2.9 and 3.0. This wasn’t due to slacking and I’ve done well at Deloitte so far with plenty of experience to speak to. Would my GPA still block me from certain firms, like any of the MBB firms or a Tier 2 consulting firm?

How to calculate your freelance day rate? (Sorry know it’s been asked before)

Planning a bridal shower / bachelorette party weekend for my elder sister (she’s 28). She wants to have it in NYC, which is where she and I live. I’m thinking bridal shower at Union Square Cafe or some other fancy restaurant Saturday morning, bachelorette party Saturday night (but no idea where), and then casual goodbye brunch at my parent’s place on Sunday AM. Her friends would fly in Friday or Saturday morning. Have never done this so need all the advice / suggestions! Thank you!

Favourite Marriott in Austin? Or any hotels worth snubbing Marriott for?

Loose fixture outside hotel room window kept me up all night being blown around in the wind. How many points?

I just spoke to someone at about a Delivery Manager position. Is anyone here familiar with their recruiting process and culture/benefits? I got some information from their website but I’d appreciate some specifics.

What's the average end of year bonus at PwC?

The more pedestrian your intellect, the better fit you are at D Heard of a colleague with an FRM charter being laid off today. Overall excellent person. And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. Join if you are a middling who wants a good brand to hack ahead in life and rise above your station
