I work with one other associate in my group. We are the same class year. They’ve been slow for a few months (guessing around 90-110 based on what they tell me). I’ve averaged 180ish/month during the same period. The partner keeps staffing me on new matters but isn’t staffing them on anything (even though I’m slammed some weeks). I think they are going to get let go, but I don’t have it in me to tell them. Has anyone dealt with this situation before?

How do I handle a situation where a supervisor questions comes off as she sees me as stupid and is belittling me? Rant: 2nd year associate here. One team I am staffed on has a midlevel that was hired in 2021 from a non-traditional route.
