Nobody tell this person about summer in Seattle.
That was the first thing I thought when I read the post, lol.
Whether you like hiking, boating, rock climbing, or hanging out on the water in Seattle, it's all terrible.
Winter is really the time to be here tbh. By month 3 of grey days the SAD hits just right
It starts after July 4 and is over before Labor Day
Usually it goes well into October!
Summer is the best kept secret when it comes to Seattle!
Drive up to Chuckanut past Mount Vernon and go for a hike then dinner at one of the restaurants.
Double Bluff Beach on Whidbey Island is just a 10 min drive from the ferry terminal.
Hike Discovery Park
Summer is the best season to be here. Have you not gone outside yet?
Hit the beaches, volunteer park, go on a hike, pike place for drinks and food on the weekend, do anything you can outside. Zero humidity, sunshine, temperate weather... Go paddle boarding, tubing in the water... Seattle summers are EVERYTHING. also - no mosquitos.
