During salary negotiations with Infosys. HR : what is the offer you holding? Me : 40 HR : We would not be able to match that. Me : yes I understand, but you need to compensate me on some other parameters, maybe onsite opportunity. You cannot say since this is Infosys, take 30 or leave. HR : no, the max we can offer is 26. 😸😸
Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

I’m curious about this as well OP. I’m at a post-MBA level already and don’t think the ROI is worth it but I don’t want not having an MBA go eventually be a hinderance
If you’re currently post mba the ROI will never work out. There is a second series of network effects and mid/late career when you start to be eligible for senior exec roles. It’s hard to put a dollar value on that, but having talked to quite a few older alum it’s significant.
Either way, PT isn’t the best for pivoting careers. It might help you find a new job at a higher level in your industry though.
Look into their executive programs. Your salary will put you in the average category in that program but exceptional in part-time. Might be better suited to be around like minded folks especially at the same career level for executive
I’ve always interpreted exec. MBAs as being targeted towards individuals older than the typical MBA crowd (35+).
I’m in mid-twenties, so I’m not sure if I’d fit the typical background of exec MBAs or if I’m at a level where it is an appropriate fit.
Obviously open to alternatives from PT, but just am curious if exec MBA is actually a good fit
Currently make slightly north of ~200 all in, so I don’t know if I could expect a significant raise directly from the MBA, or if it would just be better to spend the time I would’ve on studying on overperforming in my current role
I’m curious how you’re in your mid 20s making north of 200k...but don’t have an MBA. 🤔
Congrats, OP! Curious which client is is 😊 I think the answer to the broader Q is what you want to do long term - stay there? In which roles? Bounce somewhere?
Would you get anything out of the part time other than the stamp? Feel like you might be in a different boat than most of your classmates
It would be partially sponsored if I went part time, but if I went full time I would have to pay out of pocket.
