Is it worth it to buy a house in what is essentially the middle of nowhere? The price is unbeatable, but it’s far away from the nearest town by about an hour.

There are families looking for this type of property to live in isolation, so I can tell you that if you have your audience, you will not have many offers, but what for some may be a problem for others may be a great benefit rarely found.

If the house has autonomy of energy and services it is a good investment, towns tend to grow over time, many reports show that with the wave of Latinos entering our country our population is destined to grow by 14% in the next 20 years, so surely that house will increase in price over time as long as it is maintained.

If your intention is to resell that house, it is not a good option, because I suppose you want a quick capital return to buy another house, then you can have money detained for a long period of time.

If you have time and money available, it is always good to take a risk with an excellent price, if that is how you say, the price should not be very high, which will allow you to access a home that can be a long-term project, but most importantly is that you already have it in your hands.

The good thing would be what you want to do with it, whether to sell it immediately or wait for the market to improve for that area, if you have the possibility of holding a positive stabilization in your favor in the real estate market, do it, it is better to have it in hand than not to have it.

It is always good to have an ace up your sleeve and it seems that this is your ace, that is, sometimes we can get clients who are looking for a property like this and they are usually people who want to take advantage of their solitude to create (I am talking about musicians, artists or writers), and they are willing to pay high prices for the perfect places.

Nope. You wouldn't be able to sell it. The only people who move to houses in the middle of nowhere are those in horror movies.

It depends on what you're looking for in a home. If you're looking for peace and quiet, then buying a house in the middle of nowhere may be worth it for you.

If this is a house to live in and you're looking for a more urban environment with access to all sorts of amenities, then living in the middle of nowhere may not be the best option.

It depends on your needs and what you consider "nowhere." If you're looking for privacy and want to get away from it all, then a house in the middle of nowhere could be perfect.

I wouldn't do it. If you're looking for easy access to conveniences and amenities, "middle of nowhere" is not the place for you.

Don’t expect much appreciation

Hi friends! I’m looking for resources to help me be successful in a “Functional Lead” role.

The role is in FinTech

Anyone out there in a role like this? Any books. videos or even best practices to share?

the main partner I work for hasn’t been giving me consistent enough work (or type I want) so while I work for him still on some deals, I’ve had to go and get other work from other partners. He doesn’t regularly check in on what I’m working on. He keeps volunteering me for projects without checking if I have capacity and if he expected to know everything I’m working on… he would’ve thought I was just doing nothing the last 2 months. I don’t know how to address this workload balancing with him!

I am sick of being a realtor! I've been trying for 5 years and have only sold 3 houses. Where I'm from (small Southern town) nobody is buying. Most people's families already own homes and it's just a bummer to see all these nice houses deteriorating over time.
