Is it worth it to move from federal government job to contract to hire machine learning position? Current manager is very incompetent. We don't have real project now. I am not growing my skills here. Is 25% pay hike enough for the risk I am taking ?

I have joined Accenture as fresher at Level 11 in August 2021.
After 2-3 months I finally got a project in AWS IoT Domain.
So I am currently working in AWS serverless project where I made some AWS Architectures and implemented the entire flow using Python. I have also done AWS Developer Associate Certification.

How did you break into PE? I currently have 3 YOE with a background in Capital Markets (2 years) and FP&A for the past year. I have absolutely no passion for my current role in FP&A and always find myself thinking about PE. Any advice if I decide to try to make the transition. Is it feasible?

Hi guys, I need to know something not sure if it is legal. My client wants to hire me directly but I'm at offshore, he says he will give short term onsite for three months and within those days he will try to hire me directly. But i had other plans and have already resigned my LWD is in July but my company has not informed the client yet. I really like the project just moving due to financial need. Pls advise!? Senior AE here with just under 5 years in the industry. I’m looking to move out of selling and into a sales engineer role. My current OTE is 205k, 115k Base with 90k variable. I understand that I’ll be taking a bit of a pay cut moving into a sales engineer role. I just interviewed for a Senior Sales Engineer role and their offer is 140k base + 20% bonus ($28k) + some amount of company stock (company is pre-IPO). Does this sound in line with other companies?

The buy now, pay later loan project Walmart is working on sounds like it will be problematic and will not be the money-making system they are hoping it is going to be.

Halfway through my first CAT test and I can’t do the data sufficiency at all - the questions are so hard. I don’t feel like this is something I’ll be able to be good at.. is this normal or should I take the GRE instead?
