I wouldn’t pick any other city during this time. You can literally walk to Central Park. Riverside etc. It’s good to see people around. But if I had the choice, I would have maximised spending time with parents.
If’s always worth moving to NYC, but you’ll definitely get a solid deal on rent now...
.... Why? U can't enjoy any parts of nyc during covid. No dining, no bars, no clubs, it's crowded and a lot of ppl have left. The city is still boarded up somewhat. It's not the best of nyc right now.
Rent is going to get a lot cheaper in the next year.
I’m in New York in Williamsburg and it’s fine just like everywhere else we adjusted. I’m surrounded by amazing restaurants that have turned themselves inside out with creative outdoor dining, folks are out and about shopping, outdoor workouts are also a thing I’ve enjoyed seeing. You could definitely take advantage of the rent prices right now. In all honesty I moved out of the burbs at 18 for college and haven’t looked back so I may be biased but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now (other than a beach 🏖 or some tropical place lol). All in all I’d say go for it!
Best kind of people lol
Just moved to Williamsburg and got 1 month free + $30% reduced rent... it’s awesome. Come over here

Rent is down. A lot of activities are suspended due to the pandemic.
