From a compensation perspective - who makes more money? Investment Bankers, FAANG product managers, or MBB consultants? Over time, who is most likely to make more money?
Expecting and offer from Accenture soon as Manager in their cloud practice. What is the salary, bonus, RSU I should expect. Just want to be better informed prior to negotiating.
What’s a typical salary for an acd in philly?
What’s the salary range for a cyber Deloitte manager in a tier 1 HCOL city? Currently have an industry offer and am getting to the final rounds with Deloitte.
Got hired in March (experienced hire). Because of my hiring date I was not part of this year's round tables. Should I expect a raise in base salary and a bonus, albeit on the very small side?
Recently laid off at mid-sized NYC real estate litigation firm (first year associate making $120k before cuts in April, then $112k). I was invited to interview at a small firm and asked salary requirements. Should I give a range or specific number?
Interested in hearing more about the strategy work at Deloitte, re- culture, work, and compensation from a POC POV. Heard a couple folks say Deloitte is the way to go, but would like more info. Thanks
When will PwC get rid of the cohort model? For certain practices (I.e., Workday) it’s not competitive at all (even with the hot skills bonus).
Any idea what the average compensation is for a Non-sales associate with 15 years experience and a CFP (large city)...
Question re: salary for corporate boutique in expensive market (CA). 2000+ hours, big financings and M&A. Former big firm partners, nice, but demanding. Billed 2400+. Ok to ask 85-90% of biglaw comp?
Just finished an interview where I gave my salary range that I was looking for but realized afterwards that I low balled myself. Is there a way to change the salary range after an interview?
So this might be a better place to post this and ask this question: Uncle D has announced explicitly that most people won’t get a pay raise & bonus this year except for those promoted and high performers. Amid this crisis, are companies including other big 3, MBB, FAANG, boutique consulting firms still giving high raises and issue stocks? Can you share the impact from your firm?
Got an offer of $165000 base and no signing bonus from EY for a Manager role in the Digital and Emerging Technology practice. Is this a fair offer for a Tier 2 city with 6 YOE?EY
How do you guys feel Corporate PE, Infrastructure & Energy, Real Estate, and Private Credit compare in terms of compensation? Let’s separate out basic salary, bonuses and carry.
What is the bonus structure at your law firm? Associate hour requirement at my firm is 1850, for every hour over that you get your billable rate (i.e. if your rate is $200/hr you get $200 for each hour over 1850). To me this seems like its just overtime pay. Is this typical?
Hi guys, I got selected in wipro, but salary discussion is yet to happen. Can you please suggest me how much package should I demand as a automation tester with 4+ years of experience in Wipro? Currently my package is 6.7 LPA
FAANG folks - what are Facebook/Google roles like Country Lead/Industry Lead equivalent to? Are these Director level roles? What sort of compensation can you expect in something like that role?
How can I set the stage this year to negotiate a lower billable hours expectation instead of a raise? As a woman I'm hesitant to be open about my reason: I want more time at home with my kids. I lateraled to this firm a year ago for WLB and they are indeed flexible on WFH which helps. Salary is a bit below average for mid-size firms like mine in my area, and I didn't get a raise or bonus this year because I didn't hit the billable target (1900). Ideally I'd keep my salary but go to 1600 hours.
How difficult is it to pivot out of healthcare? Applied to be a business analyst for current company (1.5 years in) but am more interested in different industries. Thoughts?
Deloitte 🐠 had my first round interview with the recruiter about a week back. She said she will get back to me with 2 days. Should I follow up now or it’s too soon.
Has anyone ever seen Accenture counter an offer for a Consultant? I’ve got an offer elsewhere for 40% more base but wanted to see if there was any chance ACN could counter with a off cycle raise or one off bonus?
Has anyone been offered a status buy-up for 2021. ~$1700 short of United 1k this year and think my travel will increase a good bit starting next year. Think it could make sense, especially given the 2021 thresholds
Every time I walk past Spirit gates, I get really good vibes. People waiting at those gates might not be frequent fliers, but they look so happy. Thats what vacation does to people i guess
Serious q: I'm choosing between a two BI/Ops type roles, one in a FAANG in Dublin, one in a less-known corporate in London (where I'm currently based). FAANG pays 70% more and is a more interesting / more senior role, but I'd prefer staying in London where all my friends are / where it's warmer and sunnier. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna take the FAANG role, but has anyone else struggled with this type of career vs. personal life trade-off, and how did you reason about it?
Per diem dinner allowance for Orlando at KPMG seems low at $33. That city has become much more expensive especially since it’s essentially a resort town. What do other firms allow?
Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
Urgent help! I didn’t work on R before, just basic knowledge. Now the company I’m interviewing for asked me to solve a supply chain optimisation case study on R and make a presentation. Any leads on how can I learn R by this weekend?
I am two months short of completing 2 years of service at the current firm. I got a good offer and looking to move. This means I will have to pay back about $6k in joining bonus. Is there anyway I can negotiate this? I have so much overtime work hours that can currently be tracked to about 500+ hours for this year alone. What are somethings I should be aware of when paying back the joining bonus?
From reading this app. I realize we have it really well at EY. Deloitte doing major layoffs, KMPG has to come in at the crack of dawn, PwC well the hours..

Anyone already work out an optimal combo for a couple that each consults on earning? We aren’t super advanced so basic choice is either both go Marriott, or split and one go Hyatt and Hilton
https://hbr.org/2020/01/what-top-consulting-firms-gets-wrong-about-hiring thoughts? Article mentions case interviews as a poor predictor of performance.
If you put in your two weeks notice before promotion bonuses are paid, but promotion bonus payout day occurs during those two weeks, do you still get your promotion bonus?
Was lucky to get a job shortly after being laid off. Work’s not hard but feeling burned out cause of bad process, meaningless jobs on top of the pointlessness of everything happening. How you coping?
