Joined Company A, 2 months ago in APM role. Now, I have got another offer from Company B for the same role.

Company A is in real estate, Company B is in healthcare.

CTC at Company A: 21 fixed + 1 retention bonus (1 year)

CTC at Company B: 22.5 fixed + 2.5 variable+ 1 joining bonus

Should I join the new company? Or ask the current one to match the offer?

P.S. both companies are Bangalore based startups though company A is bigger in terms of employees. (1500 vs 150)

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

I’m currently a maxed out GS-15 Step 10. Masters degree is Electrical/Computer Engineering, but now a Program Manager for a high visibility area. I have 10 years to reach full retirement age (57). Why do I feel like I’m limiting myself? What would the pros and cons be of seeking private industry employment at this point? What would an equivalent salary be taking into account pension, etc?
