Is it worth moving to an org without municipal pension? I’ve been with the City 8 yrs only so in my view, my pension will not be substantial anyway so I can leave it and move on to greener pastures.

I think so but keep in mind the grass always looks greener on the other side. Sometimes that’s where they store the septic tank.

Curious where you are moving to? I assume private sector with better pay?

It is an employee’s market. Take advantage. Good luck

I am currently a gov attorney at a major metro area in the northeast. I was going to accept, but now I’m having second thoughts about leaving a secure gov job with good benefits. Really not sure what to do.

Joined Company A, 2 months ago in APM role. Now, I have got another offer from Company B for the same role.

Company A is in real estate, Company B is in healthcare.

CTC at Company A: 21 fixed + 1 retention bonus (1 year)

CTC at Company B: 22.5 fixed + 2.5 variable+ 1 joining bonus

Should I join the new company? Or ask the current one to match the offer?

P.S. both companies are Bangalore based startups though company A is bigger in terms of employees. (1500 vs 150)
