Is it worth taking a higher pay and role at a smaller company like Protiviti? Especially when you can make the move to firms like Goldman, Morgan, Blackrock but not in a consulting role

@A1 honestly there is a lot I would take over financial services right now. Would probably go back to startups. That's where I was before gs. I think you made the right choice. I'd definitely go to Microsoft if I had the option.

Thinking about where you want to be long term is super important. I transitioned to a “JV” firm, but I got better pay and an amazing WLB. Been here for a few years and still love the work and the team. That said, it could be harder for me to make higher $$ later or transition back up. As long as you know that, make your decision!

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
