Is it worth taking courses on PM? I’m thinking of doing Product School or General Assembly course to learn the basics. Is it worth the money and time commitment?

I took BrainStation I think none of these are truly useful. Just take a bunch of cheaper courses on udemy and do side projects to demonstrate you can do the job.

D1 were you able to pivot to product management that way?

From what I read, they'll teach you useful things, but won't help you get your foot in the door. Wish it weren't so :(

It amuses me to see that -
Companies sumtym prefer selecting guys who did their bachelor's from some private shitpot college than someone from a very good government college.

If someone has showed grit in past by toiling to get into top 10 colleges - he is going to give company better results in operational efficiency and creativity than a guy who scored 50-60% and spend lakhs for admission without any struggle?

HR guys -do u evn know hw much struggle that is? Do you factor dat in ur decision?

Dear Amazon PM,

Could Amazon please have a "ship by" date option? Would make gifting and certain other types of purchases easier.
Would love to be able to pick out something nice I've seen, schedule the shipment to arrive on a certain specific day out in the future (weeks or months ahead) and be done. This works for gifts, and also for certain purchases that you need occasionally but don't fall into the subscribe at regular intervals option currently listed.

Folks , I’m considering kicking off the job application process again. I feel like I can’t reach my potential as a PM at a consulting firm. For one, we have no access to user data, usually our users are clients, and we rarely get to interface with them. As a result, I don’t have any experience in A/B testing, or proper user experience research. Is this an extremely important skill? Should I look to jump sooner than later ? There are other skills I get to aggressively build here, however
