Is joining an MBA program at 30 too old? Will it negatively impact my admission chances? I did a 2 year masters, and work experience is at 4 years. Now I am 28.

Not at all! 30 is a good age. I think the avg is around 28. If you're concerned about being too old (which you definitely wouldn't be), check out exec MBAs

Perhaps do a one year if you have a Master's already and plan to stay in the same industry. Four years of work experience is around average. Besides numbers, the main thing that would impact your admissions is if you can't justify why, as a Senior Associate with a Master's degree, you still need to get an MBA. You'll have to be realistic about how the school would support you and how you'll benefit from acquiring that degree. One friend has a classmate who is "overqualified" for typical MBA positions. That classmate is having a hard time with recruiting.

Hey! I've always wanted to get into IB (prestige, money, you name it), however now that I'm in a more laid back environment (better WLB, "easier work") it doesn't seem as attractive as before and the pay is quite good for an analyst level (I think the pay is competitive even comparing with IB's pay in my country) . I wanted to know if anyone had the same experience and what were your thoughts (pursue an MBA and leave your comfort zone and "good pay" or just stick with it). TIA!

I’ve been a data analyst for a little over a year for my current employer. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL. I’m currently enrolled in Coursera Google Data Analytics Certification to learn more about SQL.
I want to get a job in data analytics that uses SQL. How do I show that I know SQL without having direct SQL related work experience?

Hi there, I recently completed my MBA degree with a marketing focus at Pepperdine. I am super interested in working in marketing in any industry related to healthcare/medical (e.g., hospitals, health tech, biotech, biopharma, medical devices). Does anyone know anyone in marketing in that sector? I’d love to hear their career story and see if they have any advice to give, thanks so much!

Hi everyone,
I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

30 days till closing and I’m entitled to 2 more walkthroughs. Sent preferred dates and time to realtor last week and she said she would get back in a couple of days. I haven’t heard from her for a week, sent a reminder yesterday and she said the dates were confirmed and she thought she had told me. I asked for a change in time as something came up, and she said she would arrange it and hasn’t got back to me yet. Before she would reply within 15’ to an hour max. What happened?
