I have spent the last six months traveling every week and I am totally missing the home office vibe.. I am sure you will get (un)lucky eventually.
I am 37, had 3-5 days traveling since I was 23 (except the 1 year during my MBA), live in a big flat with wife and dog.
I enjoy every day I don’t have to travel
Are you bragging or complaining.

OP you’re welcome to take all of our work travels on your plate 24/7 every day for the rest of your lifetime
My job has settled into mostly local office (getting coffees / seeing people / get out of house), with the odd client trip for kick-offs, special sessions etc. Not having to do M-Th makes the trips feel fun/interesting again. I like it
Traveling soon for the first time in 3+years. Previously traveled 75% weekly. I like sleeping in my own bed and not dealing with the airport crazies these days. I’m good with zoom and would prefer to stay home.
OP, I believe you are new to this and are probably framing your perspective through rose-colored glasses or instagram. As someone who has traveled 1.2m miles for work over a half decade, and now mostly wfh I do NOT want to EVER go back to that routine again. Delayed flights, disrupted sleep schedules, rude and inconsiderate co-passengers, crappy in-person small talk…uff.
No, I worked in the consulting industry years before corona happened. I miss:
The client interactions and more productive on sight meetings as well as not just seeing a screen in front of you but an actual project team you can also talk to and have coffee breaks with. I found the atmosphere way better when you did more then just talking about work.
Also, I miss the traveling itself. The flights, the nice hotels and all the reward points I got. I like the excitement and the change. Even if it is a crappy boring city.
I also were way more productive and knew my team better. Before Corona, I met my colleagues way more often and there was a real office culture.
For me its just kinda said that we are just in front of our screens now. But It seems that I just happen to be more extrovert in this regard. I think both is fine. I’d just prefer to have the choice.
I think there will be plenty of jobs where you can do that for you to choose from.

Honestly before clients would respect Friday discount for the team to do internal stuff. Now my clients are n my ass from 8am Monday to 6pm on Friday.
WFH was arguably the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
